Hi there!
My name is Shelby. I found my passion for holistic health after I independently healed myself. I went through an intense struggle with the traditional healthcare system, as many of you probably have. At the age of 16, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, which was only the beginning of my health decline. For four years, I battled four different autoimmune diseases with no end in sight. A series of different doctors tried steroids, biologics, chemotherapy infusions, immunosuppressants—everything—to no avail. Not only were none of these options a long-term fix for me, but despite the endless tests and treatments, my body was quickly deteriorating, and my survival was on the line.
I deeply felt there had to be another way for my body to heal. My breakthrough began as I learned how to listen to my intuition. Despite every doctor advising against it, I stopped all medical treatment and began to take a holistic approach to my healing. This whole-body approach meant that I took a long, hard look at what was going on within my mind, my body, and my spirit. The truth was that although I was taking care of my body the best I knew how (diet, lifestyle, medicinal herbs), my mind was riddled with negative thought patterns, and trauma was keeping myself disconnected. As I began to heal in these three areas simultaneously, I finally started to see an improvement in my symptoms.
Bringing my mind, body, and spirit into alignment with each other is what rewired my nervous system from survival mode into healing. Our bodies are programmed to want to heal, but it’s near impossible when it’s focused on simply surviving. Shifting my mindset and healing from the inside out opened a whole new life for me, and that is what I desire to bring to you. I didn’t choose this profession, it chose me. And now I spend my time teaching others how to heal in the same ways. I will guide you each step of the way in my coaching program. Come join me!
